To assist families with health requirements necessary for school entry, Fresno Unified will offer health screenings once again at Manchester Center's parking lot (Blackstone and Shields) on the following dates:

August 11, 12 & 14    8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
August 17-21    8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Mobile Health Unit staff will provide immunizations, TB tests and a limited number of physical examinations. The Healthy Smiles dental van will also be available to provide dental screenings for students entering kindergarten. All kindergarten students must have a dental screening by a dental professional by May 31, 2010. A parent or guardian must accompany children in order to receive services and bring their children's shot record.

Call the Fresno Unified Health Center at 248-7382 to set up an appointment for physicals, immunizations and TB skin tests. The Health Center is located at 3058 N. Millbrook (south of Shields).
