It is with great pleasure that United Way of Fresno County, welcomes Bill Griffith as Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Griffith graduated from California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After becoming a Chartered Financial Consultant, as well as a Chartered Life Underwriter, with many years of experience, he has been awarded the International Management Award for the past 20 years. With experience in executive compensation funding, business succession planning, employee benefit plans and funding, as well as estate analysis and funding, Mr. Griffiths comprehension of finance is sure to be key in United Way of Fresno County's success to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to make long lasting change in community conditions.

In his capacity as Chairman of the Board, Bill will be working with the board of directors to ensure that the best interests of United Way of Fresno County are met. His philosophy is to always, "recommend that course of action which I would apply to myself in the same situation". His core values and practice are appreciated and welcomed as he accepts his new position as Chairman of the Board of Directors, for United Way of Fresno County.
