Strengthening Community was identified and adopted by the Community Impact Committee in early 2010
as one of the strategic areas of focus for United Way of Fresno County. This area incorporates those activities
and efforts directly related to collaborative partnerships, capacity and sustainability training and grant-making
classes for non-profit organizations, and basic needs for those who are impacted by the economic challenges
we face as a county. The programs and projects within this area include:
